Our collaborative design process centers your goals and the natural rhythms of your space.
Our Design Process:
Garden Chat: We begin with a quick phone call to learn about your vision, timeline, and goals. It’s a chance to make sure we’re the right fit and to answer your initial questions.
On-Site Consultation: This 90 minute visit includes a walk-through of your space, an assessment, and a collaborative conversation about your site’s possibilities. In the week following the consultation you’ll receive notes, a list of recommendations, and a basic concept sketch to help guide your next steps. For smaller projects, a consultation and concept design may be all you need to get started.
Design Packages: If your project needs deeper planning beyond a concept sketch, we offer full design packages tailored to your goals. These may include scaled maps, crop plans, phased installations, and plant lists. Everything you need to move forward with confidence.
Ready to Build: When you choose us for installation, we’ll credit your consultation fee toward your project cost. We’ll refine the scope of work as needed, source high-quality plants and materials, and schedule your installation.
Design is Just the Beginning
We believe in supporting gardens long after the last plant is in the ground. Many of our clients continue working with us through Maintenance & Stewardship services or one-on-one Mentorship sessions to deepen their relationship with the land.
